Literature Text

I still feel your faint presence, clinging onto what's not yours anymore.
It's almost as if you still breathe in this seemingly empty hallway.
The windows you once peered out of are now but a fragment of my puzzled mind;
Shards that I must piece together to make sense again.
When I close my eyes, your once beating heart stands before me,
As if you still lived.
Though when I open my eyes, I am taken back to this seemingly empty hallway;
Where you physically are not.

There's something deeper to this room than just an abandoned hallway,
For you reside here, wandering a lone soul.
Searching for salvation that you may never find,
Lost between unconsciousness and insanity, unaware you are dead.
Also oblivious that I stand here.
Your curious eyes, trying to decipher why you're here.
They're just as beautiful as they were when you lived and blinked;
A seethrough blue,
Showing the door behind you from whence I entered this seemingly empty hallway...
Iduno what to say about this.

A hard poem to understand I presume, but all good poems are abstract right?
